As you are primary applicant only your status will show approved . Your wife is linked with you - her status will show submitted even if approved . I think you will both get the Pr cards

The PR cards are not linked for primary and dependent. For our PR card, my application was approved first followed by spouse's a week later.

Mine too. I just talked to IRCC; they are now opening envelopes from 18th January 2023. Two weeks ago, they were opening envelopes from 18th December 2022. So, things are progressing, albeit slowly. Did you link your application to your account?

My PR card application was approved yesterday for the new photos I sent. The new photos were received around 7th Feb. The status now says "we have mailed your permanent resident card to you..."

Do you know when can I expect the PR card at my address? My address is in Brampton, Ontario and I sent the photos to NS Sydney.
