This may be a dumb question, but what is ecas? I see everyone mentioning it.

It is a portal, where you can check the status of certain applications (primarily paper based ones)

Sad to hear all these !!! Thanks for the advise. Can you pls advise how to submit a solemn declaration? Currently I am outside Canada.

Wait until 6 weeks since they sent it. Then send a webform (since you are abroad and cannot call) and ask what to do. They will send you a link and explanation on how to send the declaration. Make absolutely sure you do not misrepresent (do not indicate any Canadian address as your residential address if you are abroad).
Indicating Canadinan address whle being very clear it is a mailing address and not residential my understanding is OK (but I am not sure - it is difficult to find information on this topic).

AOR Oct 15th
DM Oct 16th
Card sent in post: Feb 22nd

Insane how long it took, contacted MP's, confirmed there was no issue with photos, no interviews, i didn't have any unusual travel etc etc...


now to check the mail box everyday.....

Hi, Same situation. On my ECAS it was showing that it sent to my address on 31st Jan 2022 but still didn't get it. Should I contact through web form

I posted incorrectly... for me its DM since Jan 28th, no update after that. As per IRCC, you will need to wait for 6 weeks for card which makes no sense, maybe try calling them.

Hey did anyone receive their PR cards recently? Any idea how much time it takes from decision made to PR card mailed? Mine is stuck for two weeks since decision made

Mine is stuck at 4 weeks now. I am planning to call IRCC tomorrow.

Finally received the PRCard, below is the time line, if it might be helpful for the ones who are waiting for their PR Renewal
Application of myself and family of four on July 27, 2021.
AoR: October 28, 2021
Start of processing on October 28, 2021
My entire family Decision Made same day and card dispatched on No ember 1, 2021 and received on November 5, 2021 except mine

it remain in processtill November last week and than DM since than. Called multiple times but got the standard reply that in production and I almost was of the opinion that it’s been selected for physical pick-up till my last call to in mid feb when I almost get the similar response but this time I inquired for the agent id too.

surprisingly got the status changed to complete on Feb 17, and card mailed same day just one day after my last call.

Card received today finally. Thanks for the support and lots of learning for the entire process.

Best of luck for all who are waiting, just wait abs keep a follow up.

Been reading this thread regularly since I applied, I want to thank everyone for your sharing your timelines.

My PR card renewal timeline:

Date I sent my application: Dec 02, 2021
AOR: Jan 27, 2022
Processed and Decision Made the same day: Jan 27, 2022
Card sent in mail: Feb 14, 2022
Card received in the mail: Feb 22, 2022

I am in Vancouver BC, it took about 5 business days for the mail to come. It took less than 3 months for the whole process, sooner than expected. The new card dated Feb xx, 2022 is valid for 5 years till 2027.
