Its more than a month, does not look at normal. Canada post usually take a week or 2 max. You should call the IRCC for your concern

Finally got the PR card in mailbox on 9 Dec 2021.

Where are you located? I am based out of Toronto and my PR Card was sent on Dec 6th as well. Haven't received it yet.

I have one question on gckey account it says approved and mailed pr card

but on new portal my mailing address and photo still in review? Is that normal?

Hi, anybody's PR card renewal waiting time longer than mine? It's over 8 months!

My husband and I applied PR card renewal this April, he got his new card in August, and mine still IN PROCESS today. (we applied together in the same envelope, and we have the same stay of days in Canada. Not a complicated case at all.)

Submit web form multiple times and every time received an automatic reply (In order to respond to a high volume of of enquiries related to the crisis of Afghanistan......); Called 8882422100, the agent said he would only respond to priority enquiries and hanged up; Contacted with my MP office last month, no more valuable information, just let me wait for a few more days.

Is there any thing else I can do? Seek some help here. Thanks a lot!

Got my card today, it sure looks like they're speeding things up. My case was a PR card renewal, application sent to Sydney.

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on September 16, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on December 3, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on December 3, 2021.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on December 7, 2021.

Card received in Montreal December 9th.

No - looks like anything received early september is being processed- october will be in a month or so

Yes, look like they are speeding up a bit, first week of Sep applicants are receiving AOR- (within 3 months). Good luck to every one !!

AOR August 6. Still "in process". Seems there's no rhyme or reason to their processing timeline.

At least it's in process. I haven't gotten AOR yet (Aug app). Starting to think they lost my package.

Oh I hope not! We had our MP check into it for us. She could tell us nothing more than we already know. Maybe that might be a good step for you. You may be able to at least tell if it was received. I would think this would be an automated response as soon as it crosses their desks.

Current status is "In Process", my spouse application is for name change which may be will take time to make a decision.

All you have to do is pray.
There is no other country in the world with such bureaucracy as in Canada.
If IRCC has lost documents, no one will even remember this and will not search.
My daughter has been waiting for Prcard update for 2.5 years. Nobody cares about it.

I can assume that a new set of documents can be produced and sent, and then the IRCC will pay attention to this.
