PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

Did you check on the regular website or did you link your GC account to see the details?

The regular website, for some reason it would never allow me to link the application under GC Key no matter what way I tried.

My timelin

Permanent Resident Card

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on July 6, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 15, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on October 15, 2021.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on October 25, 2021.
   
   The card was received on Oct 28, 2021. Applied from Ontario.

It is so frustrating to see some people receiving their PR card with later dates than my application. Honestly super happy for you all however it just comes to show how IRCC is so disorganized and, to a certain extent, unfair with the application process.

I did enquiry through local MP as Decision made from 24th Sept and here is the response
your card is being printed, the image is pending.
A message has been sent to the Office for picture request.

It looks like they lost the pics. Reading these all reviews, it looks like most of September AOR have similar issue. I didn't receive any picture request.

Did it change to dm or from in process to card sent right away

Hi,
Just a small query, my and my family application received on July 26, all got the AoR on October 28, 2021, all my family members status changed to DM except mine, which still says in process, secondly for change in all the other application, their is showing only home address, where is in my application it shows current home and Mailing address. The home address is correct whereas mailing address is five year old of my home town.

is there anything to worry secondly how I can attach somegckey or whatever account to link so I get the in process application status in detail.

You can always ask your local MP for your file status check. All CIC office will response to your local MP within 5 days.

Have you called them? It sounds your card was selected for in-person pickup at the local office. If this is the case, it may take more than a year to receive an appointment letter to pickup your card. How many days were you in Canada in the last 5 years? Just trying to understand if there is a link.

YES I CALLED I SEND TWO TIME WEBFORM REQUEST AND THEY SAID IF URGENT YOU CAN LEAVE AND YOU CAN APPLY PRTD WHEN YOU WANT TO COME THEY REPPLYING JUST THEY ARE BUSY TO AFGANISTAN BLA BLA NOT SERIOUS RESPONS JUST WAIT AND IM COUNTINU 5 YEAR IN CANADA DIDT TRAVEL.

Hey guys, does anyone knows what the expiry date is for the renewed PR card. For example, if my old PR card will expire in Jan 2022, and I will apply to renew the PR card in Dec 2022. Will the expiry date of the renewed card 5 years from Jan 2022 or 5 years from Dec 2022? Thanks in advance!
