Hi there! May I please kindly ask if you have since received your card? And if so, may I please also ask what general region you live in? I’ve also requested urgent processing so your timeline is super helpful! Thank you.
why would they stamp the application as april 21st and ask me to return everything they've sent back with the identification they asked for if i am going to be waiting all over. i'm disappointed in them, i guess i can't travel in December!
Please try to avoid duplicate posts across the forum. I definitely understand your disappointment, but when you re-submit it will just go back to the end of the queue because no AOR was ever issued, and your application was considered incomplete - therefore it was sent back for you to resubmit. Unfortunately that resets your position in the whole processing queue. If you are really in an urgency, you can request urgent processing with an acceptable reason.
Listen, I'm not here to argue with you. It is unfortunate, but it's just the reality of how IRCC works. It's too early to make a definite answer at this time, but what I can say is they are currently into early June applications (based on what people are reporting here). The current processing time published by IRCC is 133 days, and it has been steadily going up. Maybe, just maybe, when they are done with the surge of applications recently they might speed up the process, but no one knows. I am sorry for your situation, but I'm just stating the reality.
If possible, depends on the length of your travel, look into PRTD.
Yes. I had also applied in April and got the application returned to me I September. Re submitted application reached Sydney on September 20. I have written on top of the application as Resubmission of returned application, just in case if that helps in them opening the application.
I sent my renewal application on May 30.
Received on June 4.
Received AOR just now on September 24.
Able to link my application to myCIC account. Can't check status on ecas.

I think IRCC is moving away from Ecas, if I check Ecas it says decision made but no other details, no AOR or in process only it mentions that my application was received then I checked the GC Keys I see the message below that my card was mailed today.
We mailed your permanent resident card to you. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive

I have a question about the mail delivery as I have mentioned my previous address in the application and I moved out of there just recently.
Does the mail require a signature of the applicant?
I have told my leasing agent to check the mailbox, will that suffice?

I don't think so. I haven't received my renewed card yet, but when I received my first PR card, I found it in my mailbox, and no signature was required. I would assume the same for a renewed PR card
On ecas - has anyone seen updates after the message
"We started processing your application on ____________ . "
If yes after how many days? Thank you for your help.
