Hi all i got the email today after noon at 13.00 hrs stating that we have received your application on April-8th-2021. Thats the first mail i have recieved . I am sure this is not the AOR right guys??

I think it is an AOR, what office did you send your pictures to?

Anyone send in a PR renewal application around/near March 23, 2021 receive any updates on their submissions? I made a mistake and did not send my application via courier so no assurance of my application being received. I have plans to travel at the end of September 2021 and now worried that maybe my application is lost or I may not receive my new PR before the time I plan to travel.

I just checked Decision Made.. But the home address and mailing address on my file is wrong and its the address where i used to 2.5 years ago. I think this is a mistake by data entry guy. If i change my address now, i hope my card will be delivered to my current location or is there a chance they have already mailed my card.

Can somebody confirm this is the standard definition of the status. Not everyone has to go to IRCC office to pick up the card.

Definition of Decision made says: your application will either be approved or Rejected. You will be informed of the decision.
IF you r application is approved, you will be notified by mail in 4 weeks and invited to pick up your card at IRCC office closest to you.
If your application is rejected, you will be notified of the decision by mail.

Mine would be job related, but I don't think yours shouldn't be considered. If you travel for vacation, then I would say it's not urgent. But it's for your wedding. Is your wedding already fixed, or you can still move it around? In any case, I would contact IRCC and clarify this. They will give you the definite answer.

We’ve already had to postpone due to Covid so we’re hoping to be able to go ahead in October. I’ve submitted an inquiry to see if urgent processing could be granted in this case based on compassionate grounds at the very least. I’ve not heard back yet but fingers crossed! Thanks again for your help, I honestly wouldn’t have even tried if it wasn’t for you but I’m hoping I can pull on their heart strings a bit, haha

For families who applied for minors as well, do kids under 18 get aor too? When we got my wife and daughter’s pr card we only got my wife’s aor in the mail

I dont think so...only the primary applicant gets the notification..
