I finally received a meaningful response to my web form. Apparently I have been selected to collect my PR card in person and should wait to be contacted so I can book an appointment.
Does anyone know if they usually contact you via email or by post to do this? I am concerned about the letter being lost in the mail and apparently if you fail to respond and collect the card after 6 months then they destroy it and you need to file a brand new application.
I did provide my email address and received the AOR via email back in November so hopefully they will stick with that notification method rather than snail mail. Thanks for confirming.
Hi @faty82, I'm planning to submit my PR card renewal in March. I lived in UAE and Philippines and I'm planning to translate all the Arabic stamps in my passport and submit it with my application. Did u do the same?
I did my landing in March 2015 but left Canada after 8 months and accompanied my Canadian husband outside Canada. I traveled a lot in the last 5 years. I visited KSA, Philippines,Bahrain and UAE.
Do u think it is better for me to include in my application my travel history from UAE and Philippines? I know I can't get a travel history from KSA and Bahrain.
Looking forward for your response. Thank you.
I sent my application Nov 5th, they received it nov 9th, and i got my AOR on the 13 of january and since then i haven't been able to check my status, nothing works.. literally tried everything possible.

Yes sure, add certified translation of all your passports (all pages no matter stamped or not), they say preferably color copy of passports, and have all the stamps translated (this might be difficult since you might need to have the stamps translated by different translators), in my case I had two translated by an Arabic translator and the rest by Farsi translators (btw, this is one those unwritten rules with immigration office here, so many avoid sending translation of their passports, and nothing happens, and for so many others they are asked for translations, so this is a blind decision I believe). I also added a police certificate (this is something like a background check), of course this is not necessary, but since I was out of Canada for some 3 years, just in case an uneasy officer take care of my case, I added this document as well. Hope these all work and they issue my card sooner..
Which province do you live? First time I see they mailed a card some 30 days after they started processing, somehow a big gap, they send it a few days after they confirm starting the process. But again you got your card after the roughly 91 days as stated on their web page. Btw, do they add all these timelines all at once? Or they update it after each step?

Thank you for your response. Ok I will do the same. How about the immigration entry/exit from the countries you visited/ stayed in those 3 years? Did u include them in your application?
I hope you will get your card soon.
Well No, I did not have many trips, only one entry and exit to/from Dubai (the stamps were visible in the passport) and Arabic translations were also provided. I hope they don't ask for further proofs, those stamps must be enough.
