May I ask if you were mostly employed mostly in canada or self employed overseas?

Did you have about 2.5 years of RO when you applied ?

I ask because I was pretty much self employed outside of canada for my own company overseas.

even when I worked in Canada for a year or so


But I got over 3 years of RO, so hope I’ll be ok ,


I’ll be applying for Pr renewal soon

Just don't worry about the matter. There is no connection of PR renewal with the employment. You must have to be there in canada for 2 years out of 5. In my case when i applied for renewal i got 28 months of RO

If you are over 3 years you can apply for citizenship

guys, I am a july 17th applicant. I got AOR tonight at 8:35 pm. I cant get thru my ecas and cant link my application as well so far. Is that something usual.

Yes, usually ECAS updated the next day of AOR. So tomorrow it should be there. Good luck!

Try calling cic on next working day . They can give u an update

I called them, they replied no timeline as they are checking only Feb and March files, but when I mentioned people from May June July are getting updates, they mentioned its strange

Me and my wife got just around 750 days of RO and our cards got approved smoothly last month, so don't worry.

With 3 ysars, one should apply for citizenship as well.

Hi, my PR card will expire this month and I am applying for renewal soon. I plan to call my parents to Canada and they need to show my PR card as status proof for immediate relatives exemption. I have my PR status but not card, will it affect their travel. Thanks
