Me and my wife too got AOR on Sep 10, our applications were received on May 27.

What is your occupation? I would like to know if IRCC prioritize the application by different occupation(E.g. essential works)

I also just received AOR today (renewal), application received June 1, 2020. Some movement finally.

Another update, my PR card has been sent today. That was very quick (once I got AOR lol), good luck to all of you waiting!

It’s normal I think.
From what I observed from this forum, depends on how straight forward/ complicated the application is, the processing time can be ranged from 1 day to 3 weeks

My brother's card was mailed out yesterday, no update for me yet. Really hoping mine starts soon!

Here's his timeline:

Permanent Resident Card

3. We started processing your application on September 1, 2020.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on September 8, 2020.

My brother's card arrived today! That was a quick and smooth process.

Now I'm worried about mine since I need it more urgently haha... still no update on ECAS and it's bothering me that our applications were sent together, and yet one has been approved so quickly and the other is, optimistically, still lying in the mailroom and nothing more serious. Even more concerning when you start seeing people from June (congrats nonetheless!) on here saying they've started receiving their new cards, but at least I'm not alone

So I’ve been only checking the status through ECAS, I believe the first day I saw it must’ve been the 3rd or 4th of September. I’d estimate 1 or 2 days for the time you’re asking about, though.

I’ve never gotten an AoR email, checked both inbox and junk. It would be nice to get one, but to date for all the applications I’ve made there’s never been an email.
