1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on March 12, 2020.
2. We started processing your application on August 12, 2020.
3. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on August 19, 2020.

Hi In my ECAS show Decision made for me and my child renewal of our PR cards today and I click decision made, I see as below. What does that mean?

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on March 30, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 21, 2020.
3. We started processing your application on August 21, 2020.

I wonder did it go into your junk mail - i have read about that happening.

I haven't received it yet. It just got mailed out last Thursday, I don't know where it shipped out from, probably arrive this Friday or next Monday I think.

Hi In my ECAS show decision made for me and my child renewal of our PR cards today and when I click decision made, I see as below. What does that mean?

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on March 30, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 21, 2020.
3. We started processing your application on August 21, 2020.

Meaning the decision is made, most likely approved. It will not updated again until the card is mailed out, which is usually 2-3 days after DM, then your ECAS will show as complete. You can see a more real time update through MYCIC but ECAS is fine, just a day behind.

I checked, no junk mail. I did get their correspondence when the decision was made though.

end of week, it will change to decision made. 3-5 business days for cards to be mailed out.

CIC is gradually increasing processing time by few days every week. Since Jul-7 the processing time in days: 299> 132> 137> 138> 141> 160> 164

They are just creating a backlog...
