PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2020

Total time 180 days
March 5 applied, July 30 AOR, Sept 1 Card arrive
PR renewal....

I have been reading this site because I was sooo anxious about my PR card renewal too, here’s my experience, hopefully it will provide some useful info. My timeline : delivered Mar11th by fedex, nothing until Aug12th, when you receive AOR, meaning IRCC starts processing your application, it usually takes less than 2 weeks. My card was sent on Aug 27th. My ECAS and cic account didn’t update until aug 27th. So I think just because you can’t see any update doesn’t mean your application is not moving on, so good luck to everyone it will come.

thats so strange . Did you receive an AOR or anything before you got your card !

I know! But there are others in the forum that have had the same issue. I got an AOR on July 30th. I got my card on September 1.

What is the status - is it in "Decision Made"? Mine is also in "Decision made" for more than a week.

Yes it was “decision made” for a while, now it’s “approved” with more details when u click on it, it says the card was sent, and I can see the new expiration date on my new card. IRCC also sent me an email to inform me my card was sent. So I think they will send your card soon, the online update might not be Instantly.

I wouldn't worry about that, as you can see from this thread some people who applied in March already received their PR Cards and the people who applied in April are expecting that they'll start getting them from this month.

I say this because I sent a webform last Friday and two days ago they responded with the same February bleh, they've been saying that for 4 months so probably just a standard response at this point.

I sent it through Canada Post with Tracking. Did you check your junk mail. Sometimes the mail goes into junk.

just by the phone number from their site . but you will be on hold for about 30 minutes
