Can I travel outside Canada while my PR Card is on the process of renewal? Also, How can I travel back to Canada?

You can leave Canada but need to apply for a PR Travel Document to be able to return - or alternatively fly to the US and re-enter Canada through a land border crossing.

Thanks! I have another question, my friend just mailed her pr renewal application but later she noticed that she miscalculated the number of days she spent outside canada. so instead it being 556 days, she put 563 days. Will the officials still return her application?

scylla my PR expires in Feb 2020 can I apply for renewal next month i.e., july means 8 months befor it expiry.
