I have spoken to CIC they say i will get the missing card of my daughter with in a month, thats not processed yet. They also say that they don't see any problem in the documents at the moment . I suspect that after couple of weeks may be they will ask for the new pictures of my daughter.
Thanks for updating...Why they may ask for new picture? My son and my daughter are both infants and they didn't ask for a new pic of my son. I wonder what would be the reason to ask a new one?
May be they call the infant to take the pic at nearest CIC counter OR they ask you to pick up the card in person. By holding one PR card they want to retain you in Canada. Otherwise i think there's no other problem. If they can process 5 card definitely 6th card can also be processed with them if every thing is complete and correct. In many posts u will see if there is a family CIC holds the card of infants since they cannot be left in Canada un attended and they could not travel alone. This is my understanding.
Same issue with my family. We landed on Aug 27 2012, my wife and I received our PR cards on Nov 1. However, we didn't receive the card for my son (5yrs old). We are going through an Immigration law firm (also used in the org I work for) and they didn't want to contact the call centre till last Fri Nov 9th. They wanted to wait till the full number of days passed.
Anyhow, just got a response today that i need new photos for my son. Did that and sent back out to the firm to send to the CIC.
What they couldn't or wouldn't tell me is how long it would take from now to get back his card. Would it go to the bottom of the pile and start the 63 days over or would it be processed immediately?
