PR card delayed 1.5 month

Hi guys

I and my family have landed on 14th Aug 2012 and still don't have our PR card received to the address. Who knows if there is an online checking PR status?
and is it normal? because the officer told us we will receive it 4-6 weeks from the day of landing.

It is actually not delayed. If you look at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-card.asp you see that the normal processing time is now 61 days. Therefore, you should not expect it before Oct. 15th but even if it does not arrive by then, do not worry. Some are faster, some slower.

I also landed on August 14 2012 and sailing in the same boat waiting for PR cards. Every time i check the processing time on line its increasing and increasing and increasing. When ever you had some good news about PR cards please share on this forum.

hello guys i need HELP. i am in a very different predicament. Me and my wife arrived in aug. yesterday we received the PR card of my wife only.. i called cic and asked if it is usual ..they said they can only put query to CPC but can not tell the reason y it is delayed as they can not see it in their system.
I was in canada since 2008 but i applied for PR with my wife through FSW category.
i dont know why they are taking so much time
cic agent asked me to call back in 15 days

Just wait a couple of weeks, the PR Cards are sent out separately.

I have spoken to CIC right now. I have been told that i will get my cards by the 31st of October. If i dont recieve then i call CIC. So i am hopefull to recieve my cards before the end of the month.

After I came back home, I changed my mail address and they haven't changed it until today! It means something is happening and I hope to receive PR cards ASAP!!
