PR card collection in absence???????

Dear fellows,

I will be landing in June 2010, along with my wife and kid. I will come back as can't leave my job this year for some reasons, is it possible that my wife can collect my PR card or do i need to be in canada personaly to collect the PR card, secondly after how many days one should expect to receive PR card...

PR card will be mailed to the address which you will provide at the time of landing to the immigration officer. All the cards will be mailed to the address and yes you do not need to be present to take them

Thats right - But how will you get the PR back to you in your home country while you are away from Canada. As you will be requiring them to re-enter to Canada

I think you mean PR Card then any one can courier him his card to his home country.

I will get back to abu dhabi in order to sort out transfer of my job to calgary as we have office there too, in the mean time my wife will receive the PR card as mentioned by Rockey that it comes by post and can be collected and couriered... will re-enter once transfer sorted or will leave uae job and try my luck there
