I am a Canadian and I Applied for my wife of 2 years to get a PR so we could live together in Canada in the near future.
Once her documents were approved we flew to Canada (July 2013), we stayed for two months and the day we were flying back to Iran, she told me she is not coming back and that she has gotten herself a ticket to Montreal. I did not hear from her until she received her PR card in the mail (October 2013). She then came back to Iran and told me she wants to get a divorce.

I now know she was using me just to get her PR card.

What rights do I have as a Canadian citizen, against being used by a her? She wants a divorce and is planning to come back to Canada because she has met someone on Facebook.

Report her to CIC and CBSA giving full details of what has happened. They may take up the case as a Marriage of Convenience or misrepresentation. Apart from that, there is, I'm sorry to say, nothing that you can do. You are also now on the hook for the remainder of the three years sponsorship undertaking. Just hope she doesn't go on welfare....
