PR car renewal Urgent process

Hi all

My card will expire on May 6 and i am traveling Back home for 2 months. On April 4 i applied for PR renewal application. I did include my ticket and all other document. Can you plz share your time line for PR card renewal urgent process so i can have some idea. thanks in advance

Applied on Feb. 10, 2014 - urgent processing, travel date March 14, 2014. Still in process. Residency 746 days.

UR travel date was March 14 ? and its still under process ?? ....... did u travel or did u cancel ur plan for traveling? i wish and pray that u can get it ASAP

Cancelled travel, waiting. Not all cases are similar. Wish you success too.

Oh man. I applied mine as travel received on April 19th. Still in process. Travel date may1st

I have not heard of anybody who applied for urgent processing and got it in expected time this year.

In fact some of those who applied normal processing got it faster than urgent processing.

Under normal processing, application was received by CIC on Feb 24, and I received PR card in mailbox on March 18.

I am also hoping to get this week, every week from last 5 weeks.

Every passing week brings more and more hope of 'this week'.

What I have learnt from my experience is that one word - 'travel' , which sends a shock wave in the minds of CIC.

So never tell them about it.

what other documentation did you guys include in ur application

i included

passport copy translated- dubai stamps and visas
ticket
pay stubs from last 6 months
copy or pr card, license, health card
planeticket and reciept of payment

all what you attached + other stuff attached are: apartment lease papers and tax assessment papers.
Your Dubai stamps on passport, might be of concern. Mine too.

why would dubai stamps be of concern? coz they in arabic? well they were in english but i still got all translated.

Applied for renewal on feb 10th, recd feb 13th. Pr card mailed - date unsure. Expiry march 28th, 2019.

Hello,
My case was complicated.
My PR renewal was stuck up for more than one year. (Oct 2012 to 2013).
I had planed travel to India in Dec, 2013. Sent my request for process with proof of AirTicket.
No response form CIC. Got fed up.
Then last year end I withdrew my application.
Waited for 2 months.
Re-applied with all possible residency proof in March this year.
I lived in Canada more than 900 days, worked for 4 medium to large Canadian companies. Attached all my paystubs, T4s, Tax assessment, Medical results, Property Tax paper, all pages of passport. etc, etc.
I received my PR in mail within 2 working weeks.
