Hi Guys needed some clarification on Background checks. My status is NA.
eAOR 22nd Jan 17.
My Background check changed to NA (from either In Progress or Not needed as I had not checked my account )

Will the BG have to change to IP to get a PPR ? Medicals cleared 9th Feb. Request for Travel details for me and my spouse on Feb 28,2017.

My nomination will expire in May

You would have your PPR very soon, it will be mail in MYCIC

My eAPR is 3r December and as per GCMS my file got transferred to NDVO on 22nd December. I yet to hear any updates, still my BGC is NA. I can see many who applied later in Dec and Jan are getting PPR.Any updates on the applicants who applied in 1st and second week of December? or its only me pending...just worried.

I got PPR on 12th April. Submitted my passport at VFS Jalandhar.

I have booked my flight on 28th April. I am bit worried as I have not received any update from CIC regarding passport dispatch yet?

Please tell me what should I do?

No. I didn't get any email for bg status change. Just keep on checking.

You might want to get in touch with the concerned authorities, since this looks a bit too long, especially after file transfer to LVO. I also suggest that you keep on checking your spam folder. One of our peer's golden email was in the spam folder for a while, and he didnt seem to have been notified through his CIC account (I know, it sounds v weird, but that's what he recently learned from him!)
