I just logged-in today in my account and checked that my background went in progress but my medical went is showing review in progress. I had re submitted my medical on 6 Feb 2017. Anyone knows what this means?

Has your medical exam expired? If yes, then that status makes sense. If you are an Outland applicant, you might be asked to undergo medical exam again and submit the emedical information sheet to IRCC.

Yes they asked for te medical exam and I had completed my medical a week ago. In my opinion they might started reviewing the medical exam.
