Hi fellow NDVO applicants.

Got my PPR this morning around 9:00 IST.

They had updated my Background from 'not required' to 'in progress' on saturday morning. n after exactly 48 hours i received another email in a 'Request Letter format', not with the usual subject line 'Ready for Visa / Pret pour Visa'.

Its pretty unusual they did this on monday morning.

The call center agent was very accurate. He mentioned in early Nov that I would get it before Nov 24th, and now I have the golden email on Nov 15th, a few days short of 8 months from AOR.

I wish everyone here all the very best in getting their PPR's as early as possible!

Hi All,

We have recently received ITA. Working on documents.
Can Somebody please guide about Proof of funds.
My husband is primary applicant.
Am I eligible to show funds in my account(FD etc) (Secondary applicant/ Spouse)
Or we need to have all funds on primary applicants' name.
Please share if you guys have any templates for proof of funds from bank.

Your husband (primary applicant) and you both can show proof of funds.
Get the statement and the letter required by CIC for your account. Draft a letter stating that you and your husbands are married and you allow him to show your bank balance as proof of funds. Sign the letter and attach it in the letter of explanation.

I got request letter to submit our passports to local VFS office. I assume that this is PPR.
My timeline is :-
AOR : 13th April
category : FSW
PPR (assuming) : 14th November

I want to ensure if this is PPR only. If yes, what are my next steps.
Its written in the letter that we have to submit our passports to VFS office along with fees and recent photographs.

So few of my questions are :-

• Where is VFS office in New Delhi (my VO is NDVO)?
• Are there any forms which i need to fill along with passport submission? If yes, from where will i get the forms?
• During the course of my application, i renewed my passport. So do i need to submit both my old as well as new passports (old passport contained PCC stamp - in March 2016 and new doesnt).

You would need your PPR letter, PPs of self and dependents (if applicable) and photos. There are no other forms to fill. Read the instructions in your PPR letter carefully.

• During the course of my application, i renewed my passport. So do i need to submit both my old as well as new passports (old passport contained PCC stamp - in March 2016 and new doesnt).
  
  You have to update them with this information. Visa stamp will be affixed in the new Passport. I don't think you need to send your old PP.

Since, I went via a consultant/lawyer, I recieved the information today... however, the letter is dated 15th Nov 2016.
221 days(7 months, 7 days) from AOR.
Passport and photographs have been submitted today.
Vo : New Delhi.

I wish that those who are waiting get theirs very very soon.

Brother u need to check the cic website to see the list of doctors near your place who have been assigned by canadian immigration
