Seriously what is going on.. I raised a CSE and didn't even get an automated reply. This is really worrying me, does anyone else know how can we find the application status.

There are lot of Student Visa application pending if you check the student visa section on forum. Since the sessions start in first week of september I guess student visa application have taken priority... expecting Express Entry movement from September second week.

Yes i also checked that. Students are complaining a lot abt delays as most sessions are starting from 6-7th sep. I also feel NDVO will show progress after that.

Please add me in NDVO list also. My AOR is 17th March, 2016 and medicals passed the next day. No other change or ghost mail after that. Don't know if NDVO would wake up anytime soon.

Did you order GCMS notes and know that your file is with NDVO?

I understand the student visa rush too.. but our applications have been with them for last 6 months.. well at least 4-5 months because it got transferred in April for me. So they should have picked up the pace before.. student visa rush I guess happens every year so should not be something new to them.
And I dont understand why no reply is being given to CSE too? Not even an automated one!!!

That (student visa rush) is the best guess. If we start seeing moment from September 2nd week it will kind of substantiate the hypothesis
