I submitted my passports to VFS Chennai Yesterday. It has been forwarded to NDVO today.

NDVO made a Typo error in my spouse sur name. and It took almost 20 days for me to get it corrected.

I have to submit passport of my dependent child too (don't know y they asked for it). Finally ended up paying 3000INR (VFS Service Charges) again for the mistake NDVO made ??? :'(.

I have no idea why my case took so long. Rather, my case was pretty simple.. I mean no job/address changes, very few international travel etc... but still took so much time..

My GCMS mentioned that the file was transferred to NDVO on March 25th. And NDVO took 2 months and 6 days for issuing PPR.. :'(

My PPR came in yesterday Just need to figure out how to send the document to New Delhi office when I live in Sydney. Have posted in a different thread about whether I should just send it to India from here or request for a VO change...

Anyway, this was a status update post...Wishing everyone still waiting luck - keep your chin up
