Bumping in hope of NDVO discussion/update to happen in this thread rather than all over the place

What is the effective way to contact NDVO..
Am waiting six months post AOR (Feb 4th) and was asked to contact NDVO for updates on my file.

I've heard from our fellow forum mates that NDVO doesn't respond to calls. So i think CSE or email (DELHI-IMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca) is the only option to contact them. Let us know if you get any response

Aor 5 feb
Eligibilty in progress
Background not neeeded at this time
I am always looking for this thread to be updated with new posts, so that i get a sense that NDVO is moving. But unfortunately it is not happening.
I am assuming that NDVO is busy with student visas for AUG/SEP intake. Anyone else have any idea about why there is this delay?

Hi Redd,
Can understand your frustration Brother. I would have done same in your situation. RitJ posted something interesting in one of the groups. No much movement for Feb first and second week AOR. But many from third/ forth week AOR moved to BG in progress. Some from March also have seen some movement.
Still can't understand which algorithm they are using to select PPR
May be it has to do with increased student visa applications.

Many people completed 6 months last week and no action yet from NDVO. CIC agrees there is a backlog and will be cleared soon. How soon nobody can predict anything as of now!
Just got a reply from NDVO saying that
" We have received the requested information & documents and your application is currently awaiting review by a visa officer. And at this point there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the review is completed, the next steps in the processing of this application will be determined and you are to be advised accordingly. Processing times towards finalization may vary depending on the number of newer applications received and also the individual complexity of each application. "
Now one would assume that i got a reply to a case specific enquiry or for the email i sent to New delhi immigration email ids. But to my surprise, i got reply because i sent an email to
CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with URGENT in subject line.
