UPDATE: No BGIP! This person got a straight PPR!

Guys patience is the key.

Let me brief you my situation. I started thinking to apply for PR in Nov 2013 and finally applied for PR in early 2014 while I was in Canada and my file got returned missing one document. In the same year re-applied again, and file got returned saying CEC cap reached even though it was not true as they were about to migrate to Express Entry. Since Jan 1st 2015, I was sitting in the pool. Then returned to India as my contract with my employer expired. After withdrawing and re-creating profiles several times, got PT in Nov 2015. Applied for OINP in Dec 2015. After a long wait of around 1 year, got nominated in Nov 2016. Finally applied for PR in Dec 2016.

It's been more than 3 years (full time involved in this path of my life), I am chasing for this (plan A, B, C and so on, all are failed in my case) and I know sooner or later, I am going to get it.

So, let's hope for the best and keep patience, all will be well.

Hi Neel... I can relate to your story... My journey started in January 2013 when I approached my 1st consultant... in same month I began to collect needed docs and booked IELTS for month of March... After scoring 6.5 band overall (i got minimum 6 band in each module) I submitted everything to my consultant... and that was time my 1st consultant started making me fool... Though I was eligible for FSW, she applied for FSTP which was unknown and mysterious program then... she presented fake appointment letter and gave me wrong inputs about my application... so almost after 1.5 years I was sure she is not doing anything and just got money from me... I have paid huge amount to her... anyways i got 90% of my money till end of 2014... thus i wasted 2 years and some money for nothing...

after that i came in contact with my current consultant then my real procedure began... my qualification is verified in WES... n got positive outcome... but now i had to again booked my IELTS and got 6.5 band overall again... but in 2015 Express Entry was launched my points were not sufficient so my wife also had to give IELTS and got date in month of November so 2015 was also over without any significant progress... by March 2016 I was ready with everything including finance and all other needed docs... My consultant missed SINP EE May 2016 intake... but I was lucky to get SINP in July 2016... I got nominated in September 2016 and also got ITA... Applied in November 2016 but got refusal in just 10 days due to missing doc... then created new EE profile and got Nomination transferred on new EE profile... again got ITA and applied in January 2017...

It was very tough for me and my family but I don't know what motivated me to stick with CANADA... anyways I hope I am on track this time...

Just got my COPR in Jan and have to travel by the 12th of March so will be travelling to the country for just 2 weeks and be back to India and then intend to come back in 3 months time with enough breathing space. Travelling on March 3rd. Have a couple of queries:

1) Do I have to carry all my documents from Birth certificate to Marksheets to PCC or only the COPR document is enough?

2) Could someone throw some light on this printout which lists out all the material I am carrying and intend to bring later.

3) I have got through Express Entry so i believe you can land at any airport right. I am landing at Pearson.

4) Lastly any other advice on documents or material to be carried.
