Just a question has someone reported change in background status from not needed to in progress quickly from ndvo. My status changed in 8 days. I am a bit worried if it all it has anything to do with rejection.

I see your AOR is July 2016 which means your application is 7 months old and that's a good time for the processing

Its PPR time. relax and wait for the great time.

I have updated my signature accordingly. It was my AOR for OINP. But i reported a similar user in the december forum who has exactly the same timeline which makes me believe my application is being processed out of New Delhi perhaps ottawa

Yes OTTAWA office is the only office working today. All the updates of today in thousands are from OTTAWA VO. good reason to believe this

got ppr from NDVO but i can submit my docs to CPC Ottawa

Everyone has same BG Status as NN....when it change to IP then PPR follows in few days. this is for NDVO and based on recent trend.

For me bg is in progress since 14th dec after that no change.I am pnp-o(ndvo)

Exceptions are always there and I hope you get your PPR as soon as possible.

But you may not be NDVO applicant. The updates mostly came from Ottawa and your application is processed there.

Now what does this mean ??? I think CIC keeps changing the way work just when we think we have figured it out.

Ottawa was open yesterday and that's the reason we guess your application is processed there. Hundreds of Dec and Jan first week applicants got the update. Also somebody got a reply from CIC that file is at Ottawa when asked for UCI number.
