Yes, they told me over the phone after asking me basic security questions. They just said that its been transfered to the local visa office, didnt specify NDVO. I hadn't actually emailed them earlier for this.

My Timeline:

AOR: 12th Nov
Med Passed: ~15-17th Nov
No other updates.

Okay! Then maybe I will try connecting to them one more time if this time I successfully get my UCI number from the contact person coz there is no one in NDVO ready to take our calls

Hi, I just called them too right now and got my UCI number. Also got a confirmation that my file has been transferred to my local visa office. So fingers crossed for a quick process. (I am from India. Hope NDVO quickens its pace.

Hello Guys,

Today I logged into my account and saw that my medical status is changed from passed to not needed at this time may be this is due to that my medical had expired on 5 Jan 2017. Is there any effect of my process? As I am nearly completing my 13 months of application process.

may i know if u have extensive travel history or govt or millitary service,

1)raise CSE to NDVO (not ottawa) and mention that ur medical expired and mention subject as urgent.

2)pl tell me if ur Bg changed to inprogress ever or not?

3)Lastly, some people for who medicals expired or about to expire very soon get medicals done and send cse thats also an option.

passed to NS or NN for medicals happens by default.

Try this.... I got my UCI number by emailing them:

Send an email with your EE number, Full name, PP number and date of birth to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

Hello RRK,

1. Okay I will do that but last time when I raised a CSE to NDVO regarding my application status and expected time for decision then they told me that your application is in progress and they will let me know if anything is required from my end.

2. My background status is never changed and is still not needed at this time since I had submitted my application.

3. For medical IRCC send request letter mentioning all the details that we have to take with us during medical examination. So I will wait and see if they required new medical report.

I application process is to damn slow looks like it's treated as Quebec skilled worker not as express entry. Do you think that raising a CSE to NDVO is good idea?
