Does your online status change to "decision made" before you receive PPR?
I did my medical exam in Edmonton on Jan. 19. But I haven't heard anything from LA.

I don't know. My DP sent the report in a regular mail on Feb. 1. I can not track it. I guess the mail reached Ottawa by Feb. 7.
Should I send an email to LA?

So did your address disappear today or something or does it say "decision made"? I think decision made status shows up after they have actually issued visa.? Emailing them, you always can; but it's not too late for you to receive the PPR either. The thing is you do not actually know when your medicals reached Ottawa. I have seen sometime DMPs make unnecessary delay is sending the reports out. I'd say wait until the end of this month before emailing.
Best,
Bonny

Hi skFSW/trant/DenverCo/Mickey (and those who have gotten visa):
Could you guys tell me if they change the online status to "medical received" after they have received the medical reports? If so, how long did it take in your case after the reports were delivered in Ottawa? Does it always change before they send PPR? My medicals were received in Ottawa today--just getting a little impatient I guess!!

Hi Bonny - no, my status never changed to Medicals Received. As a matter of fact it is still "In Process" and my passports are with them for the last two weeks. Hopefully it will change to Decision Made soon. I don't remember seeing the other folks who had received PPR stating that their status ever changed to Medicals Received.
I think it is a good sign if the status never gets changed to Medicals Received - it could mean your PPR is on your way. Most of us got the PPR exactly 30 days after the medicals were received by Ottawa office. My observation is when the status changes to Medicals Received, the VO is doing additional security checks. Just my observation in the forum, I could be totally wrong.
