Hi Guys,
Happy new year!!
our application was received on the first week of December and we got AOR on February 1st. We heard nothing after that. Is it normal? Or should we contact them?
Thanks
Then, I have no idea. Sorry! Haven't you applied via express entry?! As long as I know, all express entry applicants do upfront medical exams.
Could you share some detail of your application in your Signature? (Click on your username on the top right of this page --> Signature)
This could help experts like @Mr_nobody to make some useful inputs for you.
Thank you so much @aasaf.
No unfortunately, I don't have that much info about the sponsorship either. But I think the steps are similar to the EE. Eligibility, criminality, and security should be passed before the final decision. @m96 did you find your answer? We can definitely search on these forums that aasaf shared. I am sure we can find lots of info.
I applied three times for GCMS.
2 times, I received exactly after 1 months of the request (including the weekends). Once, I received 3 weeks after the request.
I also requested a CBSA note, they send me a letter after 30 days saying that they can't release it now and they need one more month. Almost 2 months has passed, but no news.
All in all, the timing varies. I remember arash had to wait like 2 months to get his notes.
Agha man chikaream!
No. @aasaf answered all your inquiries and daste khodesh dard nakone (exclusively)! man kari nakardam!!!!
man mokhlese hamegi shoma ham hastam, sharmande nakonid, tarof ham nakonid.

By the way guys, about BOWP and generally other types of WP, CIC works on a FIFO (First IN First Out) basis. So, there is not that many steps. The officer opens the file and either approves it or ADR or rejects it. With some exception of course.
I submitted my BOWP application on Jan. 10th. I already withdrew it, but they haven't accepted my withdrawal yet. This shows that they haven't reached to Jan. 10th. I think I am gonna hear from them soon.
Sorry guys for the docs for the spouse, I can't help that much as I only applied as a single applicant. I think @aasaf is definitely a better source of information than me.
Thanks bud. Yeah, in my first set I had Dec 17 and I got a ghost update on Dec 17. In my second set I have May 1st
So, I am just curious that if your assignment due date is actually close to your ghost update for PPR.
It's interesting, you received your ppr one month after the due date. there is a possibility that that due date was extended for month and the new due date was March 12th 13th when you got your ppr
No. I've not received it yet. I track my passport every day and it lies on Ankara Embassy for 10 days right now and getting dust. It seems that they are super slow on every stage of immigration phase from verifying documents to stamping passports

how about in your account? Before you receive your passport, you should see your application "approved" in your account. You can also find a counterfoil info of the COPR that they issued for you
