i just got a reply from mu MP office ... does this mean everything has passed?

time line - applied august 14, 2015

A response was received from Immigration (MP Section):

The application was received at the Centralized Intake office on August 14, 2015.

· The initial assessment to ensure your constituent’s application is complete has been finalized on May 2, 2016.

· The medical examination results are on file and valid until July 20, 2017 for your constituent spouse.

· The medical examination results are on file and valid until June 14, 2017 for your constituent.

· The criminality verifications are currently valid.

· The security verifications are currently valid.

· The file is pending a final review.

· As per our current processing times, it may take up to 16 months to finalize the application. However, processing times indicated on our website are approximate, and can vary with each individual case.

Will it be 15 months for august applicants or 16? Coz july applicants got ppr in 15 mnthd even after 16 mnths notice. Any guesses /idea?

It is only an estimate to begin with. Some august got ppr. One after 7 months that i know and otgers 14 months and 13....
No one can tell you and there is no rule that applies for all in regards of processing times !
Every case is different...every officer has his own way etc.

Seriously no one can tell you ... these are only average times...16 months is the average time it took cic to process 80 % of the applications within a certain time so for everyone waiting it could be shorter or longer

HI friends

I was on Implied status when i applied for permanent residency under provincial nominee program.I had applied for my work permit and valid visa which i mentioned in a letter with my PR application.I stated that i will send updated work permit and visa once i receive them.I called CIC Yesterday and told them that i have my all updated documents ready and ask them that where can i send those documents.They told me that i should wait for File number then i can send them.I asked them if CIC wont cancel my application because of this, they told no ,cic wont cancel it but they will ask for those documents later.

Today I checked my cic account..my application status is showing canceled due to incomplete application..What should I do now?

I got my PPR after 15 months and 14 days. So it´s pretty close to 16
