So I sent my PR application along with OWP application in Feb. I received the AOR for the PR application last week, but I was returned my OWP application as I missed paying one of the two payments. I had an IEC work permit which was valid until March 30. On March 29, I applied online to change my status to a worker (as by this time I realised my error with the payment for OWP so I knew it would be sent pack to me), which has not been approved or anything yet.
I am trying to figure out the resubmitting the OWP forms. Given my PR application was received, should I have implied status? I am not working, I know the IEC work permit cannot be extended, but am I an implied visitor now? Even though my application to change to visitor status hasn't been approved?
I have no idea how to fill out form IMM5710 now as I don't know what my status would be.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

The PR application does not give implied status. The OWP application does.

If you have a pending status change request, I don't know if that gives you implied status.

Right, thanks.
Then any idea what I should do? I applied to change my status before my status expired, I didn't think it would take 2 weeks to get approved though.

A change in status can take months.
It estimated it would take 5 days, and I changed it 5 days before my status expired. It was only changing it to a visitor status, not to a worker. I've seen many other people apply to change their status to visitor the day their previous status expired.
