PPR to COPR timeline

Hello Everyone, I sent my passport on the 26th of November 2020 and today i received my tracking ID from vfs lagos. I have inputed this ID on the vfs track your application and it says my passport is ready for collection. However I have checked my profile and there is no change. Can someone pls help explain this?

I was under the impression that you had to include a self addressed envelope for them to mail it to you.

Well in Nigeria, you can request DHL to pick up on your behalf. My worry is that it was sent only on thursday and I received my tracking ID only today. Should there not be a change in my web profile too?

yes, you are correct.
the ircc profile should change once copr was granted.
I am due to receive my copr within 2-3 weeks and i am looking forward to see what specific instructions they gave regarding travel.

Hi Guys

Just wanted to confirm something.

I received my COPR in September with an extension granted till August 2021, the COPR Document and Passport Counterfoil expires in August 2021.

But it doesn't say anything about Re-Medicals, my medicals were done in December 2019.

Can anyone tell me if I will have to do a re-medical before travelling or the medicals are extended along with the COPR?

The documents they have sent me does not mention anything about doing re-medicals.

Can anyone please advise?

What's the date your medicals have passed in your Express Entry profile? Should have been changed to August 2020

The medical date on my profile hasn't changed, it says medicals were done on Dec 4 2019, no expiry mentioned though

Everyone I have seen applied for AL either had family or had an expired copr post 18 March 2020

I did went through their list does not say anything about recent copr holders since they started processing applications again.

Hello, I experienced the same. I called VFS agent and was told to wait till they contact me that it is ready for collection. Usually once the passport is stamped,the online profile changes to approved.

How do you come to know they have received successfully and processing? (apart from courier confirmation)
will the office send an receipt/mail confirm that they received my documents?

Yeah my COPR was issued after March 2020, I got a travel exemption since I have family in Quebec but I’m actually traveling to Toronto to validate my PR, a good timing to do so? An idea if they will grant me entry to Canada or not ?

1) To check on passport status which email id to use,
Got PPR from IRCC.CIO-BRCD.IRCC@cic.gc.ca but some folks have used CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca, any idea?
2) Anyone knows what recent timeline has been for COPR stamping from US to Canada after PPR?
