guess i wasn't that lucky..i am from a visa exempt country and i emailed a copy of my passport, along with the receipt and biodata form. it's been 8 weeks and I'm still waiting for my COPR........
yes and also sent a copy to OttPilot-Immigration@cic.gc.ca. After waiting a month, i finally received an update from CIC to my email. They advised that my application is still in the queue waiting to be finalised.
I am an April 2012 applicant and my wife and I also from one of the visa exempt countries ...
Biodata & RPRF were requested on Mar. 27th 2013, which I replied to (OttPilot-Immigration @ cic.gc.ca) & (CPPO-Cost-Recovery @ cic.gc.ca) on the same day ...
Since then there were no reply whatsoever till I filed a GCMS note and followed an email inquiry to CIC to get a close look of the case on May 22nd 2013 ...
Finally got a reply on May 27th 2013 from CIC that they in fact sent CoPR on May 6th 2013 through regular mail ...
However, I've never received it to this date nor is my consultant and is now requesting CIC to reissue one ...
Anyhow, the VO who processes you case will send you instructions to indicate specifically whether or not passport is required to send in to receive CoPR ...
Today marks 9 weeks since i submitted my biodata form to CIC and paid my fees. I am still waiting the COPR, all CIC is telling me is my application is in queue to be finalized.
I am also from a visa exempt country (France), does that mean I can travel outside Canada before getting my PR card ?
Based on the timelines, I'm hoping to receive COPR in the next 2 weeks, if I do the landing right away, can I travel outside Canada without the card.
I'm supposed to leave the country August 2nd, and I don't thing I will receive the card in time.
Thanks for your help.
