Omg! Congrats! I’m also from Trinidad! I’m so happy for you and surprised as I thought they put everything on hold. So they actually issued it from Trinidad VO? I’m waiting on PPR as well but Jan 30 2020. Could you provide more details? This has given me some hope

Yes our email came from POS VO, Trinidad.
They’re open and working but with limited capacity etc
We had to send atleast 3 emails for this to happened, to hurry them up because they were sleeping on it an it was already after 2 years.
Thank you!

Did you know that your application was at that office or did you decide to email them to find out about your application? I’m waiting on the final officer review and it seems like my application is just stuck. If you don’t mind me asking what exactly did you state in your email that prompted them to move your application along.

We got an email when our application was transferred there so we knew. I went there also in March to do my interview etc
Well in our web form to them we demanded our ppr letter and also told them how we’d like to reunite etc things like that.
And so we’d like to have our ppr because it is well overdue etc.
Then about 3 day’s after we got it
So that was all.
You should expect it soon. Nothing is impossible
We did our second medical July an passed it right away,we gived them the entire august month,an then in this month,September 8th we got PPR .
So the year has 3 months stil to end. So think positive, because anything is possible.

Don't want to be pessimistic, but I think your case was different since your spouse had sponsored you from Canada. While you can move to Canada now under current exemptions to the border closures regulations, post March 18th outland COPR holders aren't allowed to pass the border.
Depends on your stream, if you're outland at the moment then don't expect anything probably until this time next year At the moment no PPR has been issued to people going back to August 2019 AOR. Everything outland is on hold.
