I also got the same reply. Does valid means I’m through? What’s the difference between valid, met, passed? I’m confused. All the best for your application
According to my understanding, the difference between MET & VALID is as below :
MET means the agent did his initial review and believes you meets the needed requirements (Eligibility, security or whatever...)
but at this stage no officer did review yet.
VALID Means it was reviewed and confirmed by the officer.
PS : this is my own perception. you can confirm with other members

Some news in today , European Union biggest airlines and major airports leaders wrote an official letter today to Justin Trudeau, the officials urged the prime minister to consider reopening borders and lift travel restrictions at least between EU and Canada pleading that Canada represent one of Europe biggest commercial partners.
Also in many countries VFS Canada are planning reponing although this depends on each country pandemic situation, in Algiers for example the Canadian embassy said that they are working with VFS in order to resume service as fast as possible, maybe we will hear from them late August.
Hello everyone,
Is there anyone who recently landed in Toronto Pearson airport that can inform me if they asked about your transfer method from Airport to your accommodation(i.e. public transport, Taxi or who will pick you up)?
Hi to all, I have a question about my landing.
My question is that if someone(My relative) pick me up from the Toronto Pearson Airport with her private vehicle , then do authorities ask her to also go to quarantine for 14 days?
All Algerian applicants are still stuck waiting, there is over 60 applicants that got approved before March 18th and VFS is holding their passports according to Radio Canada who made a documentary about them last week. @Tahhi got everything passed I think and he still waiting too.
What's your AOR date ?
