Dear Friends!!

After reviewing the above situation, I would like to clear my doubts. Appreciate if you guys give your comments!!!

I have traveled to Europe for one week and One week to UK in April 2004. The visas for Europe and UK were on my old passport. My old passport was expired before the submission of Application for Canadian immigration. Nobody asked me about my visits to UK and Europe and I submitted the copy of new passport only along with application.

Now my question is, at the time of passport request will they ask for new passport only? or I have to submit my old passport as well?
please reply!!!

Regards

If our older pps weren't discussed/mentioned anywhere in our apps, or for any reason during the PR processing - we needn't submit them on PPR.

Hi Qorax, but in this case the passports are not stamped and status is changed to DM.

qorax said:
No they don't. DM is shown on e-cas only after the pps r stamped. However, there could be a time lag between the stamping & the e-cas, as both r handled by different cells of CIC. I'm aware of many who had a DM much later - after landing... I'm one of them.

Your 2nd AOR isn't that late as yet... U should be getting it anytime now, 'coz these r send by 2-3 months approx nowadays.

In any case it's Ok to send e-mails to the VO if something is amiss & delayed. It doesn't affect your case processing. Relax!

Thank you very much for your kind replies.
Do you think I should order CAIPS now? And in the case that they reject my application, what can the reason for this rejection be?

I have never seen such things as travel history, however, for countries where I spent more than 6 months, I did send them the PCC.
The Australia visa is on my old passport. This one expire soon so I had to apply for a new one and I only submitted that new one. They did not require me to submit the old passports.
And yes I submitted my child's passport along with my Passport when applying for Canada immigration (I'm a single parent). And on my child's passport, there's the OZ visa which showed his entry and exit date.

you are correct they ask addresses where i lived since the age of 18. short conference visits do not fall in this categorye. and if you stay over six months then you have to provide pcc.
they only ask for first few pages of the passport and the visa page if you live in another country at the time application. for principal applicant they could ask all the pages of the passport.

is it ok then if send full docs without travel history? i listed the addresses and pcc from three countries but certainly visited more.

anyone else who is having problem with travel history???

thanks

different visa offices have different requirement. CHC london didn't ask us anything abt travel history neither all the pages of passport. They only asked for ID page plus if you have permission to stay in the country, that page. If CHC hasn't asked specifically about travels than i won't provide my full history of travels which were less than 6 months. If they are not asking that, than we shouldn't bother them with that.

Last week I received my passport without visa. No more update since.. I'm not sure whether I should order CAIPS, but somehow I want to give up. In the case of rejection, will I get my landing fee back?

don't lose hope. it may be some additional background/security check that they might think is remaining (After seeing your passport).

Why don't you order CAIPS notes and also send the inquiry to VO.

hey, did you hear from cic on reason of returning passport?

hope all is well at your end.
