I am a Sept-2012 applicant from Lonodn,ON. I had my test on Oct-2013 and was issued RQ few days after the test. I responded to the RQ in November-2013 and have had any updates since. I have ordered ATIP in and no progress showed up on my file.
I called the cic help center last week and was told that my file was just transferred to St. Clair office for further processing. This happened more than 10 months after sending the RQ which is strange . Has anyone had similar timeline ?
And also, does the transfer to St. Clair means that my file is about to be assessed finally or will I have to wait for many more months while my file collects dust in its new home ?
My file ( RQ ) was transfered to st.clair from my local office after 8 months and is in st.clair for 8 months now with no progress. No co is assigned yet to review the RQ. St.clair is the slowest office :
I am post test RQ recipient but my file is at Scarborough. I have seen many post test RQs transferred to St. Clair. St. Clair is the slowest office in GTA.
I guess, then in my case I got RQ letter and submit docs to Scarborough office. Let's see.... waiting game. You are approaching 36 Months, do you plan to file Mandamus? Any cheaper way to file Writ? Investing 3 to 5K I think is high, don't we have any lawyers who would do it for less?
Because all we see is, anyone who file Writ, irrespective of lawyer, file get processed.
