Hi, you will need an employer willing to sponsor you for work permit, with Labor Market Opinion (LMO) confirmation
2.) how long does it take to process? if i am here in canada? Please see "Processing Times" on www.cic.gc.ca.
Get your employer to apply for your LMO, see http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/supperimm.shtml
Getting the LMO can take a few weeks, sometimes longer. It's a possibility it may be denied but you have to try. Once you have the LMO, if you are from a visa exempt country, you can take it to the border and apply for your work permit there. If not, you can apply for a work permit by mail, see here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/extend-worker.asp
