Applied on 5th Oct with wife visitor extension still waiting.

My friends applied on 1st Oct got PGWP. Another applied before 1st Oct she also received. Oh Lord! please help

Everyone online. 2 Applied on 19th Aug they got their Work Permit delivered to them too.

Yes this is possible as long as both are legally admitted to Canada

Flag polling involves driving to the US border, departing Canada but not actually entering the United States by literally making a U-turn before entering US territory.

Could you please tell me where I could do this U turn drive. I live in Mississauga. I have applied for my wife's visitor extension and my work permit once I receive it I would do a flagpolling to get my wife's SOWP!


Just tell me the location near Mississauga where I could do such a flag polling.

Hi friends,

I received my PGWP on Oct 23, 2015 but left Canada without TRV (as I was in hurry and couldn't stay back longer) and am back home in India at present. The CIC reps had told me that I could apply for TRV from outside Canada if I had the PGWP.

Does anyone know what documents/forms are needed to apply for TRV from outside Canada for PGWP holders and is the procedure similar to if I was in Canada? Is it the form IMM5257?

Also, should I apply online or at the local consulate?

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance!!
