True..its very frustrating to wait for PGWP. Even i am waiting for PGWP for 6 Months. That was due to Error In Transcript. (That was they said).

Did they specify what error?

Dude that really sucks, I'm sorry.

I applied today and submitted both as I figured it couldn't hurt. You know that you can work full time while awaiting approval right? Would your employer not hire you unless you physically had the permit?

My SIN has expired and I just got a confirmed management trainee offer TODAY afternoon (second offer in 2 months) but they cant go ahead on an expired SIN. So I have to wait for the PGWP so that I can extend my SIN. Ridiculous. I am the only IDIOT in my cohort whose work permit was refused because of not having sent in my completion letter. I cannot express how irritated I am right now.

Hiii guys, i am a student here and my husband is on work permit so my question is : Can my husband get PR instead of me, if he has a NOC A or B job or if yes then is he need to give IELTS exam too???

If I am not mistaken, your husband can apply for PR through Express Entry Canadian Experience Class. He will have to do IELTS (or any other English test) because there are points associated with it.

Yes, You can travel if your study permit still valid
You should come back before your study permit and TRV expires

He has to give his IELTS for NOC A,B or O type of jobs.

Hello guys, hope you all are having a nice weekend. Just wanted to share some positive news that 2 of my friends who had applied for PGWP on Jan 22nd night, got their approval yesterday,i.e., April 26th. Their Review of Eligibility status updated on April 25th.

Both of them got it for 3 years as they studied at Centennial College Business Management course of 2 years without taking any break in between.

I applied for PGWP 2 weeks later due to passport renewal so I’m in the queue with you guys as well. Hope we all get the PGWP soon! Cheers
