is it asking for biometrics ? I know IRCC plans on starting biometrics for people inside canada this year but I don’t think that has started yet

There is no option of biometrics but according to CIC website, Indian passport holder will have to give biometrics starting Jan 1, 2019. So this is what I understood from going through various threads here that I can submit biometrics later after submitting my application. Should I go ahead and do it?

Yes, if they require they will send you a notification. I applied without biometrics.

Can anyone help me out? I just applied for PGWP on CIC website with graduation letter from my college. I didn't fill in the non-compulsory on the form # IMM5710e. Would that be a problem in deciding my application?

Hey guys,

While applying my work permit I made a mistake by attaching 2 separate study permit one of which was expired. Also, it comes 1st in the pdf file I made. Do u think officer could just skip scrolling the file and straight away refuse the file?

@just_rachit where did you attach the study permit to ? last I checked there’s no place holder for it when you complete the online app.. It’s just the IMM form, Letter of Completion / Transcript , Digital Photo and Passport Page

Also no need to worry the officer easily can tell your status by examining your UCI no which is a unique identifier

No. They are optional.

You could add it in the optional document - Client Information Section. However, it is not mandatory, I think.

The processing time is more then 80 days now. Applied on 31st October and still no update.

I think you should call ircc as the processing time is 76 days

On call they say that they are processing applications received on 21st October. Don't know what they are doing. Is there anyone who applied after 31st Oct and got there work permit?

When did you apply? I think for those who applied in 2019, biometrics is mandatory for them.

I applied on 2nd Nov. Looks like they are processing paper-based applications. They processed till 21st Oct by 30th Dec and it's still the same on 6th of Jan. Lame service by IRCC. Did you try calling??
