Noticed that the "Current Status" changed from "submitted" to "profile updated", but when I clicked "Check full application status" and found nothing new. Then I returned to the homepage and "Current Status" changed to "Submitted' again.

you are not alone, lot of people liek me applied in may are still waiting.

Should I wait till the end of this month? Btw my processing time has already crossed and not even review has started.

Try calling IRCC customer care and let them know that the processing time has exceeded. There's a chance they might pick up on your application soon.

It can range from 5 to 14 days.

To travel outside canada. It is stamped inside passport. Work permit is not a travel document. TRV is.
