Post Graduate Work Permit Processing Time (PGWP)

Hi all,
Is it possible that the processing time might be more in case if your passport expires before the 3 year you are supposed to get?
I applied 4th Feb.
All my classmates, everyone I know mostly got the PGWP.
My Passport expires 2024 so I will get only 2 years. Does this take longer for them(IRCC) to sort out?

Finally, we did it!

Mine was approved on July 18, but received the email notification on July 19.

Wait time: 6 Months and 5 days...

I received a generic (automatic) email the day after I submitted the web form.

They will respond to you after 1.5 months to 2 months for webform. I raised webform May 29 and receieved automated response after 2 days and responded me July 18 and my pgwp already approved july 12.

Hi guys I have query regarding travel. My study will be finishing in dec 2022 and I have valid study permit and Trv till 30 April 2023. Can I go to my home country and travel back in March after applying pgwp inside Canada. If anyone has travelled on this scenario. Please help actually I need to travel to India in Feb 2023..

No, but don't worry. I guess delays in work permit processing times are most likely due to the peak vacation season. My eligibility took exactly two weeks, I'm guessing case officer was probably on vacation.

so I got my work permit and I applied for my TRV from INDIA today on 23rd July 2022. The processing time shown online is 160 days, which is a lot,anybody who has applied for TRV from India?? Please share timeline.

Don't stress, try calling IRCC. Most probably your case officer is on vacation. Hopefully you'll get approved soon.

Hi everyone
I got approval for PGWP on 20th june, but I didn't get my hard copy still now at home address. I went to border yesterday, but they didn't give me hard copy, i have approval letter with me, i sent webforms to IRCC, but no reply.
can anyone help me and suggest me what can I do now ??
