Yes I contacted them last Thursday, they replied to me on Friday requesting some forms so they could ask for my file on my behalf, and I received a message from them that they contacted the IRCC, and as soon as they get a reply from them, they will let me know how to proceed...

Yes, you need to have your spouses PGWP in your application for a SOWP. It is one of the necessary documents to have your work permit approved.

I am in the same position as you, I uploaded my spouses PGWP yesterday as we only just received it. I applied for my work permit March 28th, with paystubs and letter of employment.
