I am pleased to say that I got my PGWP approved. It was hectic and stressful as I had to wait for over a year to get approval.
Timeline:
Applied: 22nd July 2020.
In review: 23rd November 2020
Approved: 10th August 2021.

Nothing. I just had to wait for a very long time to get my PGWP approved. I really don't know why it took them so long.

Update: got physical work permit (took 7 days to ship from Edmonton AB to ON)

Update-Applied May 18 inland, review started Aug 6, approved Aug 9. Expiry date is 2024/08/06.

Your passport is valid till 2024/08/06 too?
