Post Graduate Work Permit Processing Time (PGWP)

They'll find out through your SIN which is linked to your UCI (shown on your permit). I wouldn't worry about it though. PGWP processing are taking forever because of the sheer amount of applications submitted around this time.

So the SIN number has hours worked only right? It wouldn’t say that my work was essential or something,, nor the ROE?, idk i think im just stressing it out.

Hi,

I was a part-time student at George Brown College in last semester. The last course needed was taken at another uni and finished later than the others.

Some important dates:

1. 6/6 received my final grades from X Uni. This is the last course that I need to complete my studying at George Brown College.
2. 12/7 finalized my credit transfer to GBC. This took a long time because of GBC's system was under attack for a month and I couldn't access any online file from GBC nor contacting the employees there.
3. 17/7 received my letter of completion with graduating date on 25/6
4. 19/7 applied for my PGWP

However, I have started working full-time on 7/6 not knowing about the rule (totally my fault), before applying for my PGWP.

Was I still considered a student during the 6/6 - 12/7 period? Should I send them a webform explaining the situation?

If not, please advise on the next course of action I should take should my PGWP application is rejected.

Hey , thx for reply , “ircc can find out easily” , can you please elaborate how can they, i do have a letter that was sent to me by my HR saying “we are essential business “ but i is dated on MID-NOVEMBER , but i worked for the same company throughout. Is that okay?

When you put your employment details in the form, they’ll know.

If I mention Walmart as my employer, IRCC obviously knows retail stores were open.

I travelled to india after applyin pgwp inside canada on july 7 2021 now i am planning to come back to canada before approval.
Do i need to give medical exam again to show border officer.
And can you guys please help me in letting me know on what documents should i bring while coming back.

A valid TRV , thats all . They prolly would already know that ur application is under process, if not just tell em . Nothing to worry.

Even in the Indian immigration i need to show only trv right.? What if they ask me your studies are done and why u coming back.?
