Hi Finally time to share my timeline
Applied for PGWP on May 2020
Got rejection in October 2020
Re applied in October with restoration on study permit
Got approval Today 23rd Feb.

Did any one got approval for first time pgwp application in feb? I have applied on 2nd feb got submission confirmation on 3rd feb but no updates till now.. my employer is waiting for pgwp confirmation, I am afraid that I may loose opportunity if my pgwp doesn't come in this week or may be next.

Yeah they know that I can start working but thing is they don't want to take risk if incase my pgwp got refused. They were asking that if it got refused then how you will serve notice period of the job.

Did any one got approval for first time pgwp application in feb? I have applied on 2nd feb got submission confirmation on 3rd feb but no updates till now.. my employer is waiting for pgwp confirmation, I am afraid that I may loose opportunity if my pgwp doesn't come in this week or may be next.

I have applied on Jan 16th 2021. Still no update. Even Review of eligibility has not been started yet.

End of Jan files were approved, I haven't seen any Feb files here.

i have one part-time in summer 2020 but it was allowed due to covid-19 as mention on the website. My last semester was Fall 2020.

It was. But i had to complete my study in 4 semesters. Otherwise it was 3 semesters as i did transfer credits. But still i dont think it was a problem as i talked to a professional. Maybe thats the reason why its delayed. And also the professional told me, people who applied in January , some of them got their approval and some who applied in december , they r still waiting. So its all random.
