Post Graduate Work Permit Processing Time (PGWP)

Hello, is there anyone here applying their post graduate work permit (PGWP) outside Canada? Particularly in Abu Dhabi?

My cousin just recently graduated in Dec 2020 and she's currently outside Canada. She received a job offer and they would like her to start in April 2020. She just submitted her PGWP application outside the country on Feb 10th and is planning to enter Canada in March. Can she still enter using her TRV that will expire on March 31st, 2021 and just wait her PGWP in Canada? Please let me know your thoughts about it.

I submitted my application on Jan 25. The status changed into "in review" yesterday at around 4:30 pm, and changed into "approved" just now. I received the PGWP for three years.

At first I made it a family application. But when I saw people getting approved quickly I cancelled the application and applied alone. Why did you ask?

Usually when people apply with family members it get's delayed. Was wondering if that was the scenario.

Yes especially when I saw visitor record is 200 days.

But guess what I got an email a few moments ago of a new message in my account. When I signed in, a letter of withdrawal has been attached to the one I applied with my dependents on the 20th and later withdrew. The new application I made alone is now showing we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements but surprisingly my dependents application is also showing the same review of eligibility and it was not withdrawn.

When I sent the withdrawal request through webform and got a response through email. I was told the V.O makes the final decision on the withdrawal. The reason I gave for the withdrawal is due to ''the difference in processing times'' of work permits and visitor records. Hopefully they intend to give all of us at once.

I applied on 8th January. Got submission confirmation on 7th February. But after that no update

My eligibility review changed today. I just checked again and it has been approved for three years.
