My application got updated today in the morning but not approved yet. When will i get the approval? And does the approval letter stating the document expiry date come immediately after the application getting approved? Please answer

When did your applied? After you get approved, the website will shows the document expiry date immediately.

I asked CIC and they told me the hard copy can take up to 40 days. If you did not received in 40 days you should contact them.

Apply on paper taking longer time. I saw you applied on June.6, I believe you should expect result in the first week of October. (Base on recent processing times. Do not worry.

Thanks for the support...thats how i calculated it too, sometime in October. Problem is I need to go home for an urgent matter in September, and I don't want to be hassled by the CBSA or Immigration when I return.
