I am quite understanding it actually, they prioritize study permit application because international students bring in $22 billion GDP to Canada and thousands of jobs(I think I read about this from some news articles, you can google it). You could argue that work permit people also brings/create GDP to Canada but that's not a guarantee GDP given there are more people job hunting than the amount of jobs now. But none of the less, that's their decision and we can just wait patiently. In my own opinion, I am appreciating they are still accepting pgwp application because there are much more people hunting jobs than the amount of jobs(I am speaking from the industry I will be working in only).

Well the call center agent is just quoting the six-month processing time on IRCC website. He has no additional insights into your application and he can’t help you with accelerating the process. I understand the wait is frustrating for all of us but that’s the reality.
Looks like you havent backread this thread. Very few folks gets approved in 3 months unless you have biometrics. Without biometrics it takes a pretty long time.
3 months was their processing time BEFORE covid happened.
