Travelling to the United States
You don’t need a valid TRV to re-enter Canada if you meet all of the following:

• Have a valid study permit or work permit, or hold valid visitor status in Canada
• Leave Canada to visit only the United States
• Return to Canada by the end of the authorized period of your stay in Canada

i was wondering if i apply for my TRV within canada and get my stamping done in india.

5 Jan no update .. have done everything contacted local mp , raised webform ... Now the only option left with me is flagpoling . My study permit has also been expired on 30 march 2022 and company where i work need my approval of work permit till 10 june . Will flagpoling work for me as my study permit is expired and I am on implied status ?

The new average for the processing times is 144. I applied on Jan 18, inland, with no updates. However, the 144th day is going to be next Saturday. Therefore, yours will be Friday. Let's hope.
